What is the MetalBird made of?
The MetalBird is made of corten steel. Corten steel is a type of metal that develops a thin layer of rust under the influence of the weather. The rust layer gives the bird a beautiful rust-brown color and also protects against further rusting. Corten steel is indestructible and requires no maintenance.
How can I attach the MetalBird?
A hammer and a stool is all you need. At the end of the branch the bird is sitting on is a sharp point. A few taps with the hammer and your bird is secured in the tree or the wood of the fence. For attachment in a wall you can use a plug.
Won't you damage the tree if you hit the metal bird into it?
Because there is a sharp point, you only make a small hole. The tree is not bothered by it. We do recommend waiting for very young trees until spring is over and the sap flows through the tree less quickly.
