Additional product information

Did you know that the Tree Pipit..

Likes to live on the edge of forests and open spaces. Marshes are very popular, but also clear-cut forest plots and heathland are inhabited by tree pipits. From a tree, where the tree pipit prefers to sit, it starts to fly up and then lands like a parachute with stiff wings and hanging legs. In the middle of the day on a scorching hot heath, when all other bird species keep their beaks closed, the melodious, characteristic song of tree pipits can still be heard. The tree pipit, made of 3 mm thick corten steel, is certainly a good choice for your garden!

Corten steel is...

Steel that gets a beautiful rusty brown layer. The corrosion starts immediately when the tree pipit comes into contact with the outside air. The layer also protects against further rusting, which means the tree pipit will last a lifetime.

  • Easy to assemble with a few taps of the hammer (drill a hole in hard wood first)
  • Made of 3 mm thick, 'weather-resistant' Corten steel® for a beautiful patina that changes with the seasons.
  • 16 cm high and 33 cm wide (including the branch/tip)
