Did you know that the Imperial Eagle....
Was threatened with extinction in the 1960s? It is 72-83 cm tall and has a wingspan of 180-215 cm. The Spanish Imperial Eagle is usually silent, but can occasionally bark like a dog to defend its territory during the breeding season. This Metalbird, made of 3 mm thick Corten steel, is a tribute to the Imperial Eagle!
Corten steel is...
Steel that gets a beautiful rusty brown layer. The corrosion starts immediately when the barn owl comes into contact with the outside air. The layer also protects against further rusting, which means the barn owl will last a lifetime.
- Easy to assemble with a few taps of the hammer (drill a hole in hard wood first)
- Made of 3 mm thick, 'weather-resistant' Corten steel® for a beautiful patina that changes with the seasons.
- 45 cm high and 43 cm wide (including the branch/tip)
