You can play this game in four ways:
- Quartet – You play an old-fashioned game of quartet with a new-fangled rule: before you receive a card you must answer a question or carry out an assignment.
- To chat – You place all the cards in a face down pile, take turns drawing a card and answering the 'to chat' question.
- To do – You place all the cards in a face down pile, take turns drawing a card and carrying out the 'to do' command.

Make a story – Deal all the cards. Take turns drawing a card, reading the red sentence and making up a story. The next player continues making up and uses the red sentence from a new card.
