We can say that the "house sparrow" is the most 'Dutch' bird we know. For some time we unfortunately came across the sparrow less often, but fortunately the number is now steadily increasing. Nice design by Metalbird!

Additional product information

Did you know that....

… the beak of a male sparrow turns black when he starts building his nest? This usually starts around January. These sparrows fit everywhere; in the tree, on the fence or on a birdhouse. Give these sparrows, made of corten steel, a nice spot with sky in the background, so that the beautiful drawing of these birds comes into their own.

Corten steel is...

Steel that gets a beautiful rusty brown layer. The corrosion starts immediately when the tree sparrows come into contact with the outside air. The layer also protects against further rusting, which means the tree sparrows last a lifetime.

  • Easy to assemble with a few taps of the hammer (drill a hole in hard wood first)
  • Made of 3 mm thick, 'weather-resistant' Corten steel® for a beautiful patina that changes with the seasons.
  • 20 cm high and 26 cm wide (including the branch/tip)
