Build your own village
Samlet is a village of 12 very diverse houses: old, urban, rural, cozy and old but also new and modern. They are real pre-fab houses: pre-punched, pre-scored, and the windows have already been broken out. Even the walls inside are already provided with wallpaper in a trendy botanical black and white print. The only thing you as a house builder have to do is glue the walls and roofs together at the indicated location.
Finishing the village is a party in itself and then you can start moving things around. Will it be a cozy lit village square on the table or a straight street on your windowsill? Will you string a garland of them or give one as a gift at a housewarming party?
December tip
Make the hippest advent calendar ever: Buy 2 sets (= 24 houses) and number the houses with small round stickers (from the office supply store, for example). In each house you can then put a small gift or note for each day of advent.
If you want to light up the houses, only use artificial lights or wire lighting, but never real tea lights due to fire hazard.
