The 45 cm diameter 'Atlantis' bowl is named after the myth of Atlantis. The theme for this design was inspired by the evolutionary forms of nature, with emphasis on a repetition of structure as seen in "sea life".
The repetition of curves in this seemingly crafted piece, were developed with very high-tech advanced Cad Cam programs and used to create a 'mother mold' for a casting mold. By rotation, division and reflection, Atlantis was created.
This project ultimately resulted in a beautiful but very complex basic shape, which is partly due to the highest technological knowledge of producer Cor Unum.
