Did you know that the Long-tailed Tit...
Usually lives in groups with a close social structure. Long-tailed tit is also a collective name for all kinds of difficult to recognize subspecies. Long-tailed tits are hard workers, they are real interior designers and use up to 1500 feathers, moss, hair, spider web and lichen as camouflage in their spherical nest. They are often in groups of 3 to 60 small bird friends and keep in touch with each other by soft clicking sounds and short trills. At night they huddle close together to stay warm.
This long-tailed tit, made of corten steel, can tolerate the cold. Some "friends" nearby are always nice!
